Cascadian Chroniclers,
Our Kickstarter campaign has ~21 hours to go!
Currently, The Blue Beacon stands at $9,688 pledged and 166 backers. We blasted past our initial goal and we’re on pace to break the $10k mark by tomorrow morning. If you haven’t pledged your support yet, now’s the time!
I’m feeling very psyched to wrap this up and move on to the next stages. Those next stages include:
Setting up a BackerKit page to continue pre-orders.
Making small edits to the manuscript before I send my order to Gorham Printing.
Changing the book cover option from glossy to matte.
I’m also blasting out Reels to practice my filmmaking and share updates on where this process is at. Here’s one about the most intriguing characters in The Blue Beacon…
And here’s another talking about a change I’m making to the cover.
And I don’t know if I’ve ever sent you the short trailer for this book but it’s one of my favorite things about this campaign and Aaron Donley made it for me and it’s the most charming of clips.
So that’s where we are and I’m so thrilled to wrap up the active campaign and move into distribution. It’s not like I love the the shipping & handling process, but the motive of getting this book into reader hands is a powerful driver right now. Also, I wanna see what the new matte covers look like since all mine are currently glossy.
Onward, friends! Thank you for all your care and support!
Your very grateful writer,
Jordan Green
